General Summary: Assist with day-to-day payroll operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process hourly payroll using ADP Vantage.
  • Balance final ADP Labor Distribution Reports against batch input totals and cuts manual checks for any adjustments needed.
  • Coordinate distribution and shipping of labor distribution reports.
  • Maintain Corporate Hourly timesheets.
  • Respond to store management and Corporate Office inquires.
  • Serve as a back-up to other Payroll Coordinators.
  • Assist Payroll Supervisor on special projects.
  • Assist employees with ADP Vantage and W2’s.
  • Enter data into the ADP Payroll Database and uploads appropriate paperwork.
  • Fill in for receptionist on an as needed basis.

Requirements (knowledge, skills & abilities):

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a multi-state payroll function is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ADP systems helpful.
  • Strong computer skills, to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • High energy, enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills, including oral, written and interpersonal.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment with professionals at different levels.
  • Dependability in meeting deadlines and follow through on instructions.
  • Ability to examine a problem, identify its cause and suggest alternative solutions.
  • Ability to perform research.
