General Summary:  Performs administrative work with minimal instruction or supervision while providing assistance to the Buyer in administrative areas.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains merchandise analysis reports in Microsoft Excel as directed.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining official documents and records in appropriate files.
  • Types or reproduces reports, forms, correspondence, and other materials as generated by the Buyer.
  • Creates word documents and power point presentations as directed.
  • Handles supervisor’s visitors, calls, and phone logs, assuring proper responses.
  • Vendor contact and scheduling.
  • Manages the sample room and tags all samples when they are bought.
  • Facilitates and ensures the confirmation sample process flows smoothly and timely.
  • Prepares and creates all purchase orders.
  • Price change data entry.
  • Work with Merchandisers when extra help is needed.


Requirements (knowledge, skills & abilities):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills, oral, written, and interpersonal.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency using Microsoft Office and proven ability to create and maintain complex analysis reports in spreadsheets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Multi task oriented.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with associates, supervisors, and vendors at every level.
