General Summary: The Digital Front End Developer/Analyst will work independently and in a team oriented environment with our Web and Graphic Designers, Digital Marketing team, and Information Services department. The Digital Front End Developer/Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and improving the user experience on, implementing creative elements in a responsive and cross-device manner and assisting with content implementation in supporting channels like email and social media. This role is will also assist with monitoring the website and other channels, and providing analysis and insight to help improve performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front end web development skills; expert Photoshop ability to optimize creative elements for implementation; experience in connecting front-end content to back-end resources in an eCommerce context; and excellent analytical abilities.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) templates, landing pages for, email marketing templates and other channels with a strong focus on usability and user experience.
  • Work closely with Software Engineers to maintain and update front end content during development projects.
  • Implement web content in the eCommerce platform and troubleshoot any potential issues.
  • Test multiple versions of digital content (landing pages, email, etc.), extract data utilizing A|B testing and then implement improved user experience.
  • Monitor analytics and review to identify and recommend process improvements.


Requirements (knowledge, skills & abilities):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Must be skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager. Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud as well as familiarity with Agile methodology and the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc.) are a plus.
  • Must be experienced with email development. Direct experience with Oracle Responsys is a plus.
  • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop a plus.
  • Strong understanding or working knowledge of digital/web design and development, and the fundamentals of user experience and mobile-first responsive design.
  • Possess problem solving and analytical skills, including the ability to break down complex problems into manageable pieces and find innovative solutions to them.
  • Fluency and awareness of industry trends (mobile-first responsive design, content strategy, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks.
