Director, eCommerce Product Management

Immediate opportunity! Join our eCommerce team at our Corporate Headquarters in Fort Mills, SC. This position will report to the corporate office on Monday through Thursday and work remotely on Friday from home.

 

Summary:

 

The Director, eCommerce Product Management is responsible for leading Shoe Carnival's eCommerce and related digital products throughout the product life cycle -- vision, strategy, planning, development and measurement. This position will work directly with stakeholders across IT, Marketing, Merchandising, Store Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Support, and Finance to discover and deliver effective solutions and best-in-class digital experiences.

  • Defines long term eCommerce and omnichannel product strategies and roadmaps in support of eCommerce growth and our omnichannel strategy.
  • Oversees product strategy development and defines the steps required to bring the product to life.
  • Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration of eCommerce and mobile based applications from definition phase through implementation.
  • Collaborates with IT leadership and business partners to define the technical architecture for eCommerce and mobile touchpoints.
  • Assesses and identifies product opportunities to determine which are worth pursuing. Develops business cases as needed to justify investments.
  • Performs gap analysis between business requirements and platform capabilities and designs the configurations, customizations, extensions, and interfaces needed to meet the requirements.
  • Directly accountable for the overall project/program delivery of the eCommerce development team and vendors to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects that meet scope, timing, and cost goals.
  • Collaborates with eCommerce leadership to build and lead an engineering team focused on delivering world-class cloud eCommerce and customer experience capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management required.
  • 6+ years of experience in leading/delivering omni channel (eCommerce/OMS/CRM) capabilities preferred.
  • Demonstrated success and extensive experience defining and launching excellent digital products.
  • Advanced understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
  • Experience working with Salesforce technology or similar platforms preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of modern web technologies and platforms
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
  • Exceptional people leadership skills
