eCommerce Content Specialist

The eCommerce Content Specialist will partner with cross-functional teams to prepare all products for sale on The eCommerce Content Specialist will also develop and create product categories, manage quality assurance, and problem resolution.


  • Works independently to create and publish compelling, creative, SEO enhanced, and targeted product descriptions.
  • Manages the daily coordination of product samples to prepare all product for sale on
  • Partners with the eCommerce Photographer to resolve product photography errors.
  • Develops product categories to support accurate site navigation, and helps to maintain them in conjunction with the eCommerce On-Site Merchandiser.
  • Performs quality assurance checks for all stock keeping units (skus) on, including accurate photography, categorization, description, and product name.
  • Researches product technology, fashion trends, competitor websites, etc. to create accurate product features and specifications (material types, technical specifications, style notes, etc.).
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with merchandising and vendor partners to resolve asset discrepancies or sample acquisition issues.
  • Acts as the liaison between merchandising and customer service to resolve issues related to the presentation of products online.
  • Updates and references reporting to achieve inventory specific key performance indicators (KPIs) for the online business.
  • Maintains product knowledge of historical, current, and future merchandise assortments.
  • Assists in creating and publishing compelling, creative, SEO enhanced, and targeted product descriptions.



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and proven ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets.
  • Database knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to meet daily deadlines and follow through to completion.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with an aptitude for critical thinking.
  • Strong creative writing and editing skills.
  • A positive attitude and a great sense of humor that relates to our "fun-loving" brand is a plus.
