Description:

This is a remote position. Enjoy working out of your home while reporting to our corporate office is located in Evansville, Indiana.

The eCommerce Developer will work with a team to implement multiple projects for our eCommerce site "shoecarnival.com" while prioritizing and maintaining other time sensitive projects including integration efficiency and web-page development.

· Utilizes best practices for JavaScript, HTML, Node.js, React, and CSS.

· Collaborates with Information Systems department to enable better CI/CD (continuous integration, continuous development).

· Evaluates API and design deliverables for build feasibility and provides feedback.

· Assists in breaking down tasks by prioritizing and seeing them to completion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Management, Data Science, Mathematics, or related degree required.
• 3+ years of work experience with a JavaScript Framework (Angular/React/Vue or similar), Rest APIs, Git, Node.js, NPM scripts, Agile Methodologies, and/or Hybrid JS mobile app preferred.
• Familiar with Atlassian suite preferred.
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Ability to learn and possess a comprehensive knowledge of Shoe Carnival's front-end and back-end systems.
