Shoe Station has an immediate opening for a dynamic eCommerce On-site Merchandiser to add to its already strong marketing team. We are looking for an energized, strategic thinking individual focused on helping to grow an already fun-loving brand based in our new headquarters (southern suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina). You must be a team collaborator with passion, insight, and ideation for Marketing.

This position will report to the corporate office on Monday through Thursday and work remotely on Friday from home.

Summary:

The eCommerce On-Site Merchandiser executes key aspects of site merchandising for the shoestation.com website. This role identifies trends and uses analytics to drive on-site merchandising.

• Creates and publishes landing pages to include sales/coupon experiences, product trend/brand stories, URL link functionality, etc.
• Plans, tests, and refines product groupings to facilitate efficient search (through taxonomy, site search filtering, and categorization tactics.)
• Prioritizes key concepts and reinforces a positive brand experience.
• Analyzes and reacts to product trends using search and sales data.
• Drives strategies using data analysis and KPIs.
• Uses online merchandising tools and reports to drive cross-sell and up-sell strategies.
• Moderates user-generated content (reviews and social media) to drive on-site merchandising opportunities.
• Creates online product features and specifications (fit guides, technical specs, etc.) as needed.
• Collaborates with Pricing and eCommerce Production Manager to create landing pages for specific advertisements.
• Leads or facilitates meetings with vendor contacts as needed.
• Presents takeaways and results for products/experience performance to Buying team.
• Maintains product knowledge of current and future merchandise assortments.
• Leads product attribution strategy, determining where products should be categorized.
• Collaborates with the eCommerce Merchandising Manager and the Buying team to plan featured brand/product/category stories for micro-site experiences.
• Updates and maintains featured product carousels in Salesforce Commerce Cloud throughout the site experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 1-2+ years in eCommerce or Merchandising preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, required.
• Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience preferred.
• Knowledge of business reporting and Google Analytics preferred.
• Knowledge of/aptitude for HTML preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an aptitude for numbers.
• Strong ability to work independently while supporting team as needed.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with frequently changing priorities.
• Comfortable when presenting information to stakeholders as needed.
• Interest and knowledge of market and fashion trends.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn
