Shoe Station has an immediate opening for a dynamic eCommerce Product Photographer to add to its already strong marketing team. We are looking for an energized, strategic thinking individual focused on helping to grow an already fun-loving brand based in our new headquarters (southern suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina). You must be a team collaborator with passion, insight, and ideation for Marketing.

This position will report to the corporate office on Monday through Thursday and work remotely on Friday from home.

Summary:

The eCommerce Product Photographer is primarily responsible for the production of website product

photography including the pre and post-production tasks required for posting images to the website

as well as possible creative/lifestyle imagery for various marketing campaigns and projects.

· Serves as a superuser of the photography system used to execute product photography and completes a high daily volume of product photography under tight deadlines working quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality.

· Works closely with the eCommerce Content Specialist to coordinate shooting of all samples coming into the studio and establish shooting priorities.

· Maintains a detailed photography list/schedule/calendar based on product arrivals and image needs.

· Prepares and styles all products in accordance with studio standards.

· Photographs all products in a consistent manner, timely fashion and with the utmost attention to detail.

· Responsible for sizing, naming and color correcting all product shots.

· Utilizes digital asset management tool to name, save, and archive product images and maintains master image archive in an organized manner.

· Proactive problem solving, both technically and creatively, with constant attention to process improvement.

· Fosters a collaborative, fast-paced, dynamic and energetic environment.

· Maintains photo equipment and cleanliness of studio.

· Stays up-to-date on industry best practices, trends, and new technologies.

· Works with a third party image processor as needed.

Requirements:

· Degree in Photography or related field, or 2+ years of photography experience required.

· Must have portfolio of recent work that demonstrates technical and creative photography skill for product and lifestyle.

· Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and self-manage several projects simultaneously with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks independently.

· Highly organized and flexible with strong organizational and time management skills.

· Positive team player with excellent communication skills, willingness to collaborate and ability to take direction.

· Knowledge and/or experience with difficult studio lighting situations (namely white objects on a white background, as well as black on black).

· Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
