The Marketing Project Lead is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of marketing projects including management of cross-functional project teams, managing the scope of work, tasks, and resources. This role leads development and rollout of agile marketing practices across the organization and drives continuous process improvement.


· Manages all aspects of complex, strategic marketing projects that span business and marketing teams, external media, and creative agencies. Brings clarity to those projects, creates open dialogue across teams, identifies and removes blockers, and encourages collaboration.

· Leverages work management systems to coordinate multiple projects, including ownership of project brief, scope of work, resource allocation, facilitating approvals, and managing expectations and timeline

· Encourages sustainable pace and holds teams accountable for commitments by tracking progress against milestones and other performance indicators in order to meet deadlines.

· Promotes team empowerment through clear communication and cross-functional collaboration by sharing project expectations, status, and blockers to ensure all participating teams have the information needed to make critical decisions, take next steps, and remove blockers.

· Gathers feedback and shares information to develop continuous improvement marketing processes.



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Management, or related field and/or equivalent work experience required.
  • 2+ years experience working with cross-functional teams in project management. Omnichannel retailing, category management within a national/regional retailer preferred.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving, and project management abilities.
  • Willingness to take initiative with the mindset of continuous innovation, optimization, and growth.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas and gather input from professionals at all levels.
  • Ability to multi-task, maintaining multiple projects on an on-going basis with shifting priorities. Must be able to easily embrace and manage change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
