Program Manager, eCommerce

We are looking for a Program Manager who thrives leading cross-functional teams to plan, develop, deliver and support large-scale eCommerce initiatives for our Shoe Carnival and Shoe Station brands.


This position will report to our South Corporate office in Fort Mill, SC on Monday through Thursday and work remotely on Friday from home.




You will work on the eCommerce Product technology team with your role including planning, management, and execution of technology programs across eCommerce, Marketing and Merchandising.


You will be responsible for end-to-end project scoping, cost management, vendor management, coordination, & timely delivery of projects within defined budget parameters. Not only is the ability to identify & elevate risks to leadership & business partners critical, but the willingness to solution collaboratively and learn is equally vital. This role will manage projects using hybrid Lean and Agile principals and frameworks.


You will collaborate with cross-functional teams that range from product, design, engineers, technology functions, outside vendors and various business partners, including Marketing, Merchandising and Finance. You will be reporting project status, risks and issues to project sponsors and senior leadership.


  • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand, define, and refine the Program Scope, Deliverables, and Critical Path dependencies.
  • Develops and manages the team schedule, budget, and resource plans.
  • Implements a governance, reporting structure, and program communication strategy to bring alignment and transparency across all stakeholders.
  • Takes initiative to proactively and continually look for ways to improve processes.
  • Maintains a positive attitude through good times and bad to bring energy to the program and inspire creativity, shared commitment, and growth.
  • Encourages effective decisions that result in data driven outcomes.


  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or related fields or equivalent related work experience required.
  • 5+ years of Program or Project Management experience, preferably in retail, consulting, or related fields required.
  • Experience with the deployment of retail enterprise platforms and systems (eCommerce, CRM, Marketing, Merchandising, Point of Sale, etc.) preferred.
  • PMP certification or training is a plus.
  • Working to comprehensive knowledge of business practices, project management methodology, and Lean-Agile principles.
  • Proficient with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with internal and external teams at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize effectively in order to maintain the schedule, resources, and budget.
