Sr. Manager Digital Development

The Sr. Manager -- Digital Development is responsible for the overall team delivery of the architecture, design, development, quality assurance, and support for all web and mobile technologies. This position will work with cross-functional teams to drive the technological needs and ensure the timely delivery of code.


  • Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration of eCommerce and mobile based applications from definition phase through implementation.
  • Collaborates with IT leadership and business partners to define the technical architecture for eCommerce and mobile touchpoints.
  • Performs gap analysis between business requirements and platform capabilities and designs the configurations, customizations, extensions, and interfaces needed to meet the requirements.
  • Directly accountable for the overall project/program delivery of the eCommerce development team and vendors to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects that meet scope, timing, and cost goals.
  • Collaborates with eCommerce leadership to build and lead an engineering team focused on delivering world-class cloud eCommerce and customer experience capabilities.
  • Performance tuning of the applications.



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • 6+ years of experience leading/delivering omni channel (eCommerce/OMS/CRM) capabilities preferred.
  • Comprehensive experience with modern applications/development, architectural patterns, and languages such as: API first strategies/microservices, SOA, responsive design, Javascript, JSON, REST, Java, Node.js, etc.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Relation Database technology preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of underlying web technologies (HTTP protocol, web servers, database servers, content delivery systems, web services, tags, search, etc).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
