1st Shift Distribution Lead

Monday -- Friday, 6:45AM -- 3:15PM (overtime as needed)

Our only Distribution Center is seeking a dynamic individual to contribute directly to our renowned distribution strategies, manage daily distribution operations, and play a vital role in our overall performance. A key component of our success has been the people that work in our Stores, Distribution Center and Corporate office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, and work in conjunction with several departments.

Job Duties

• Provides direction and leadership regarding assignments and personnel in the assigned area.
• Provides training, coaching, and support to department personnel.
• Effectively communicates with all areas to ensure effective and accurate operational flow of merchandise.
• Maintains and enforces a safe work environment, ensuring all associates understand and follow standard operating procedures and safe work practices.
• Creates and maintains accurate reports in order to identify areas of opportunity.
• Performs all tasks completely, accurately, and timely without compromising quality of work.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and in a positive manner.
• Ability to quickly read, learn, and understand standard operating and safety procedures.
• Ability to make reasonable decisions and count accurately.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work overtime including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Experience

• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
